Join us for this amazing chance to learn how to build and program your own LEGO robots! Each week features a new project. There will be a month of programs at each branch, starting with IVES MAIN in March. Space is limited to 16 kids, first come first served, no registration. The Saturday after the four sessions at each location families and friends are welcome to come to a Robot Rodeo for everyone to show off their skills. Ages 7-12. Sponsored by Alexion.

We’re going to use iPads, a computer, and some surprise tools to make our own music! Ages 5+
Makerspace | Thurs. March 9 | Stetson | 3:00-5:00
Create, make, and explore at Stetson’s Makerspace in The Village. Jewelry making, wire wrapping, 3D printing, wearables, fuse beads, arts and crafts, knitting, crocheting and more! Let your creativity run wild! For families, children and teens.
Digital Literacy for Early Learners “A Primer for Parents” | Thurs. March 9 | Ives Main | 5:30-7:30
Learn how to prepare your child, age birth to 5, to start kindergarten with the critical skills they need to learn and succeed in school. This free four part workshop will cover: child development, encouraging learning, finding teachable moments in play, making the most of reading time, what to do with your child when you turn off the TV, and using library resources and websites that emphasize education. Light snacks and childcare for children 3 and up provided. There will be a raffle at the last meeting including an Android tablet as first prize! In collaboration with Concepts for Adaptive Learning. Registration required. 
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day: Learn to draw Celtic Knots | Sat. March 11 | Mitchell | 3:00-4:00
Join us for a celebration of Medieval Irish art in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. Learn the basics of drawing elegant Celtic knots and the history and symbolism behind them. For ages 5+
Fun With Fine Art | Sat. March 11 | Ives Main | 3:00-4:00 We will create colorful tissue paper stained glass windows to brighten even the grayest winter day. Ages 5 to 9.

Orphan boy Peter is spirited away to magical Neverland where finds fun and danger, and ultimately discovers his destiny—to become Peter Pan.

Join the Village in African dance, drumming, arts and crafts, and education. Led by Hanan Hameen of the Artsucation Academy.
